The bedroom is a place of rest and my vision for creating my very own sacred resting spot was to keep it clean and decluttered, with the use of neutral colours paired with pops of colour here and there to give the room a playful touch.
A wide angle view of my bedroom, I wanted the space to be inviting and opted for the warm tones of vinyl flooring. There is hardly any built-in furniture here as I really wanted the master to be just a place of rest.
I love experimenting with colours and I bought these pillow cases and sheets from Sojao off Joo Chiat road and I love that you can customise your colours and combine different tones based on how you visualise your space.
Lighting plays a big part in making the space cosy and I purchased these ceramic lighting fixtures from an indie shop in Bangkok called Elementseden that my ID recommended. These are frosted glass with bulbs inside and definitely help to create mood when it's time to wind down at night. Highly recommend.
Having one on each side of the headboard ensures that lighting is relatively spread evenly throughout the room. I generally prefer my lighting to be soft and diffused to create the right ambience, and hence I tend to opt for frosted glass encasements whenever possible.
