They say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, right?
As previously covered, one reason we picked this place was largely due to its ability to convert into an open-concept kitchen that we wanted.
3D render of the kitchen by our ID. Inspired by the country kitchen, we opted for dark blue to our lower cabinets and kept things lighter up top with white cabinets.

This added more flow to the house and was one of our proudest takeaways from the reno.
We were also able to benefit from having a long kitchen island at 2.1m in length. From food preparation to cooking, the island also served as our central gathering space when we host our family and friends.
We opted to have an open niche at the corner of the kitchen island for some added storage, since it was gonna be a ‘dead spot’.
We picked up pottery as a hobby to fight boredom during the pandemic, and we're glad our collection of handmade mugs and bowls finds its perfect place, otherwise an overlooked and underutilised corner.
