Hello Everyone! We are Chiamhaus and welcome to our 4 bedroom apartment where we live with our children, aged 2 and 4. We incorporated lots of white, wood and rattan furniture and carpentry in our Scandinavian themed home as we wanted to create a bright and soothing space where we could chill and relax. 
This was the original layout of our home but we hacked away some of the walls in the kitchen and yard area to create an open concept kitchen where more natural light can penetrate. 
HipVanUnverifiedMIRA Bubble Sculpture CandleS$21.90We created this arch display niche that acts as the focal point of our living room and the partition board used to create the display niche also allows us to conceal the wires for our TV. Requested for a built-in storage settee for our dining area for additional storage and also to accommodate more people when we hosts guests. This is our favourite space at home because it is where our living, dining, kitchen and balcony area is. We love that we can all be doing different things at each of these spaces but still be able to interact with one another. We opted for a kitchen without top cabinets because we wanted our narrow kitchen to look brighter and wider. In exchange, we added open shelves at the top to act as additional storage space and at the same time allow us to add some display items. 
HipVanUnverifiedMIRA Bubble Sculpture CandleS$21.90Kept our master bedroom fairly simple with just a bed frame and two bedside tables. 
The door to our walk-in wardrobe was also hacked away to create a seamless space. This is our master bathroom with very simple design and tiles for easy maintenance. 
Our common bathroom has a similar design to our common bathroom. While the rest of the home is decked in white, wood and rattan, we added splashes of colors to the kids room to reflect the playful nature of our toddlers. Lots of wooden furniture in the kids playroom because we try to adopt Montessori learning at home. Baskets and open shelving helps to encourage children to be independent when retrieving and keeping their belongings. This is all for our introductory post.
