Hi Communa! Today I am going to talk about the mundane.. the routine and more responsibilities you have when you own a home. Cleaning!! I am super glad we did not have any glass partition in the bathrooms and that will be more glass for me to clean!! More on cleaning of glass later in the post. Starting with this picture so my common bathroom will be featured!

For the toilet bowl stains :), self-explanatory.
  • Look at the grease on the anti-fingerprint laminate from lamitak above my hood. Yes they are termed anti-fingerprint but they don't escape from grease!! The kitchen carpentry needs regular wiping down!

I was introduced to this by my Sister-in-law. She uses this to clean the grease off her laminates too.. so far so good!

After photo! I need to work on it more!

The part behind my faucet always gets mouldy! I shared before that epoxy grouting is non-porous and will not be stained and it was a great investment for ease of maintenance in a home! But it still gets mouldy which a simple trick could fix it!

The MAGIC sponge! You can get these from daiso or any Japanese homeware stores.

  • The magic sponge is also very useful in cleaning my white blanco silgranit kitchen sink which has limescale deposit over the time after heavy usage.

    Sparkling clean after!
  • You can also get these from shopee .. Mould remover gel.. wait for it to dry and peel them off. This can also be used in the bathrooms.

I use this to clean all glass windows, service yard doors and window panels, including the glass tinted sliding doors of our wardrobe as seen in the next photo.

We got black tinted glass for our wardrobe which is really qutie aesthetics and you can see your clothes with the led strips inside .. one problem is that you need to maintain the cleanliness of it quite frequently as you get fingerprints and stains on it easily.. Even after cleaning, there is trails of where the cleaning cloth went as seen in the picture..
