We did not customise any carpentry in the living room area, but decided to get off-the-shelves furniture to keep our house design flexible.
We got the minimalist white TV console from Tao Bao to seamlessly fit into the tranquil white tones of our living room that defines Japandi-inspired sanctuary. This TV console from Tao Bao also came assembled, so there was no assembly and installation required!
To continue the white wood theme, we also got a marble design wooden table from Tao Bao!
The centerpiece of our living room area is the beige 2-seater sofa (and there is a reason why we opted for a 2-seater instead of a bigger 2.5 or even 3-seater sofa; because we wanted to fit in a massage chair in our living room)!
Featured here is also our DIY customised tufted rug!
We also specially selected an electric recliner sofa! Electric recliners are easier to use! It also allows a wide range of positions (unlike manual recliners).
Continuing the white wood theme from the other parts of our home, we got these white wood track lights to provide ample illumination and cozy reading ambience!
And here comes one of the most expensive item in our living room, the massage chair! Both of us are used to having a massage chair in our previous home, hence we decided to get one in our new home! The massage chair aids in stress relief and muscle relaxation at the end of a long work day by providing a comprehensive and customizable massage experience!
