We started looking for a place and were lucky enough to find this resale unit which was clean and spacious. It was a no brainer!
This was the original layout of our home. There were walls segmenting the kitchen and the common toilet was taking up space at the core area of the service balcony.
This is our revised floor plan. To maximize our kitchen space, we decided to hack down the wall to create an open kitchen concept. Qz smartly suggested reorientating our common toilet so as to create a much more spacious area in the kitchen.
Here's the render that we first received. Our service balcony is double volume and given that the common toilet was the closest to it, the brief was to create a holiday Bali Amazonia vibe. The concept was to utilize a mix of wallpaper and tiles. It was unfortunate that our ID couldn't get workers for execution. We managed to find a nice wallpaper design and a handyman who could apply it for us.
Our living room with carpentry TV console to match the fluted designed walls. Simple and classy to us. The balcony floor was already leveled to the living room which saved us a lot of hassle.
And lastly, the master bedroom with a full-length mirror at the side to make the space look bigger. We didn't go for a bed that's so low in the end. So till then, do stay tuned to see how we brought the 3D renders to live.
