Hi there🤗! Welcome to our cozy humble abode! From the start of home renovation process, we are certain that we do not want too much carpentry in the house. Picture a cozy house styled with 99% loose furnitures and decorative items from Taobao - here @baosathome Welcome to our living room! -featuring the biggest space of our home where we spent most of our time unwinding and enjoying each other's company. Here's a wide angled shot of our living room. As our BTO is not entitled to optional component scheme, we cannot opt out from the default HDB white tiles. Hence, we decided to overlay grey vinyl flooring to soften the look while providing a modern yet cohesive aesthetic with our laminates and furniture. Our bomb shelter is also concealed seamlessly with the arched settee. We are also softening the look of the house by incorporating curves in our carpentry. The walls are painted in a harmonious blend of whites and brown and when the soft, warm LED fixtures shine, this cast a gentle glow and enhancing the cozy vibes. 
The main centerpiece of our living room will be our soft, white fluffy sofa from Taobao, raped with textured throw blankets and scattered with fluffy pillows in varying shade of cream and beige. Surrounding the sofa are two round side tables from Taobao that echo its curves. Again, we are exploring and incorporating textures and curves to elevate the look of the living room. We decided against carpentry for our TV console and chose to go with loose furniture from Taobao instead. This gives us the flexibility to rearrange things easily, and it’s definitely more budget-friendly! We truly adore how the variety of textured pillows and throws elevate the appearance of the sofa.

Loving how the soft, calming natural sunlight filters into the living room. Lastly, we recently added this curvy mirror and faux flowers from Taobao to spruce up our home. We love how the curves from the mirror and the pop of colours from the flowers add some dimension to our house.
