Hi everyone, we are @_firstoctober! The theme of our home is mediterranean, which was inspired by our holidays in Europe, especially Spain!
When we were house hunting, we had quite a few layout considerations. Some of our preferences included a square layout, the ability to have an open/ semi-open concept kitchen, and large windows to allow as much light to reach the house as possible. After a long search, we finally found our home.

We carefully sourced our furniture and decor from various places to complement our mediterranean theme. One of our favourite items is our coffee table set, which we carried back from Indonesia.

We enjoy meal prepping and cooking together, so it was important to us to maximise countertop space and storage for our kitchen.
