    'Spot the orange bike' is what we tell our visitors We made the switch to a digital lock and it was one of those things we weren't super certain about, but now we are 100% converted. It is possible to be enamoured with an inanimate object because we love our gate 🥺 the choice of its colour was an effortless decision, and for the design we wanted something uncomplicated and cat-proof.

    Sharing the original floorplan/layout of our apartment. We were working directly with a contractor instead of an interior designer, because we (1) have a firm vision of what we want, (2) are comfortable in doing the design work ourselves (3) believe that the money can be saved for other essentials for the house. We also don’t have a typical squarish layout, so it was fun to plan.

    To the observant eye it might soon become apparent that the colour temperature of both bathroom lights are different. Indeed, we are fans of different lighting temperatures and selected different lights for our bathrooms - probably to the bemusement of our neighbours and passersby.
