    Welcome back guys! We’re down to the last few post sharing about our home. We hope you’ve gotten some inspiration so far 😬 This week is about our service yard! Here’s a view of our service yard shot on a wide angle, which showcase part of our kitchen as well. During our pre-reno discussion, we’ve always wanted the option for an open or close concept for our service yard. This is especially to avoid smelly and oily clothing when we’re cooking in the kitchen, and we have laundry that’s drying at the service yard. Hence, installing a synchronised sliding door is a lifesaver!!

    A closer look of the service yard area. Like many other BTO layouts these days, the service yard and corridor door/walkway is pretty near and visible to others which lacks privacy (despite having grilles installed). So we decided to have sliding windows with privacy films, but during the day, we still have natural light coming in which isn’t that bad.

    The same angle of our service yard, but with the synchronised sliding door in used.. Another plus point of this sliding door, it helps to reduce noise! We can’t really hear the washer spinning, or even neighbours yapping when the door is closed. 🙉

    Last but not least, our trusty tabletop and our top-down cabinet that hides away the big ugly pipes! The idea of this cabinet was made to hide the pipes and create storage space at the same time. If you’re wondering where are our laundry related items, it’s well hidden away🫣 More storage = clutter-free! Thanks for reading till the end! 🫶🏻

  • How’s ur service yard a sliding door, is the mechanism still ok ? bcz there is no tract at bottom 🙏
