This post is all about creating a Green Corner, a cozy little spot filled with plants to bring life and calm into our space. While my actual items haven’t arrived yet (still waiting on the delivery!), I’m sharing my current ideas and inspirations using online pictures for now. Can’t wait to see how it’ll all come together once everything’s here!

I’m getting a 1.8m faux olive tree to place in the corner of our living room. Why olive tree? I’ve always loved the gentle, organic look it brings. It fits perfectly with our wabi-sabi aesthetic. More than just looks, the olive tree holds deep meaning for me. It’s a symbol of peace and resilience, and it also represents the land of Palestine, where olive trees are deeply rooted in heritage and significance. Since I’m still learning how to care for indoor plants, I’m starting with a faux version. Low maintenance but still full of warmth and presence.

This is our dry pantry! It’s simple, functional, but admittedly, it’s been feeling a little too plain. To add warmth and personality, I’ve decided to incorporate some pottery. Think organic shapes, natural textures, and muted earthy tones to complement the wood.

These beautiful ceramic vases are currently on their way to me. I was drawn to their sculptural shapes and how they echo the curves in our home. The neutral tones will blend seamlessly into the space while adding visual interest and a handcrafted touch. To complete the look, I’m thinking of adding dainty branches, maybe dried flowers or eucalyptus. Eucalyptus isn’t just pretty to look at. It also comes with natural benefits! It helps keep bugs away with its fresh, clean scent, purifies the air with its antibacterial properties, and promotes a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for winding down. Dried eucalyptus also lasts for months, making it a fuss-free and stylish addition. Can’t wait to style them and show you how it transforms the space!
