  • When it came to our living room, we started with tons of Pinterest inspiration but no fixed style. We passed it all to our ID, who helped us narrow down and find the right vibe. Having unlimited renders made a big difference—we went through more than three rounds of changes to get everything just right.

This was our very first render, and we were so excited to see our mix-and-match ideas finally come to life! While we loved the overall look, we decided to pass on the wavy cove ceiling lighting, even though we initially thought it would be perfect. We also let go of the limewash walls—they were way out of budget. We figured it might make for a good DIY project down the line.

This is the second render. We opted for plain cream and light brown walls instead and updated the cove lighting to a semi-circle shape to match the arch.

This was the day we picked our colors, and we decided on a grey-cream instead of a brown-cream to create a nice contrast with the brown sugar arch.

And here’s our living room today! If you look closely, we found a dining light nearly identical to the one in the render. We couldn’t find the exact match for the other lights, so we went with a different style—and we love the result. We use it in the evenings when we’re winding down; it adds such a cozy vibe to the whole space.
