Welcome to my laundry nook – where fresh starts and clean clothes begin! In this short post, we will be sharing the appliances and equipment we used and some decors to help spruce up the area. At the end of the post, we will be including our affiliate codes so that you can save some money shopping on HipVan/Communa! :D The original service yard did not come with windows, so we had to get our ID to add windows for this area. Insects are big no no for us and we value privacy, so this installation is really important for us. From this wide angle view, you can see that there are no other carpentries built in this area. Our washing machine is a front load from Electrolux. We settled on this washing machine as our parents have been using this so we know how it works exactly. Additionally, it's been really sturdy and does the job well. 
All the cleaning appliances, tools and equipments are kept in the service yard, but we still want to keep it neat, so we bought a push trolley with shelvings to stash. There are 2 must-haves in any household. This is one of them. The Dreame x40 ultra!!!! (Although the x50 has been recently released) Although we paid a hefty sum for it, bout $1.5k, but honestly no regrets so far. We get to come home to a clean house, with no dust on the floor, floors vacuumed and mopped, without having to a lift a finger ourselves. A major lifesaver for us as a dual income working couple. You'd be surprised at how much dust and hair can accumulate on the floor just from not cleaning it for a few days. 
This is the 2nd must have in any household - Steigen laundry rack. Ours is a Steigen solar pro gen 2 in blush pink! We are able to dry our clothes within the house thanks to our Steigen laundry rack. There are 3 hour and 6 hour heated fan settings, which are more than enough to dry 1 load of clothes. We do not like to hang our laundry outside to sun dry, because in Tengah, it is full of constructions outside. 
That's all for our service yard! Honestly, our service yard looks very empty but it is very functional. We would love to further decorate and furnish the place with interesting decors and memorabilia.
