Hey everyone, hope you’re having a great day so far!🫶🏻
In today’s post, we’ll be looking at our standard common bathroom that came with our DBSS. This is the washroom that is used mainly by our guest and by the husband.🤭
Because it came pretty standardised, I tried to personalise it by adding small touches of styling hehe. Let’s look at how this bathroom looked like when we collected our keys.
As you can see here, it’s pretty basic and grey. All the furnishings were done and functional. We also have had no issues so far in our 9 years of living here so that’s a good thing hahaha.
Our toilet bowl and sink are from cotto while the shower set and tap are from grohe.
This is the common bathroom post styling.✨
Our sink area didn’t come with a cabinet for storage and we did not want to add any built-in items so we used these baskets. One to place toilet rolls (in abundance 😂) and the other as a rubbish bin.
The rattan basket was meant to be a plant pot but I thought it looked nice and functional as a rubbish bin. The handles made it easy to carry out and empty it when it gets full. It’s from Ikea because we love Ikea!😆👍🏻
Tip: Add small personal touches bit by bit. It will all come together slowly.🥰
Our shower area didn’t come with any shelves or recessed wall and so we got these corner wall mount shelves to place the necessities.
Uncommon necessities to us include poo fighters (from the name I think it’s obvious what it does hahaha 💩), shower steamers, reed diffusers and room sprays. I’m a huge scent person so the bathroom needs to smell nice at all times.😌
That’s the end of our post for this week. We shall leave the master bathroom for another time because we have not taken any photos of it.😆 Till next week!👋🏻
Here’s a compliment for everyone who scrolled to the end hehehe.😉🫶🏻🍑
