Before we got our keys, we were planning to do overlay tiles for both bathrooms, as we thought the default HDB tiles might not match the theme of our home.
However, when we saw the actual tiles, we realized they weren’t that bad, so we decided to keep the original tiles for the common bathroom. This also saved us a significant amount of money, which we later used for other parts of the house.
Since we opted for the half-glass design, the tiler used the extra tiles from HDB to create a curb in the shower area.
For the master bathroom, we decided to overlay the tiles to create a different vibe. The glass cabinet also provided us with more storage space for all the small items.
We requested the tiler to create two small niches for us to store toiletries.
We also fell in love with the strip tiles from Hafary and decided to use them to create a feature wall.
That’s all for the details of our two bathrooms. If you’re interested in seeing more updates of our home, please follow us!
