Hello everyone! Welcome to @ourtownerloft 🩶 We are Janice & Elias, here we have our two shiba inus Asahi & Kohi and this makes up our humble home in the heart of Boon Keng along Towner Road (hence our name suggests hehe) We're thrilled to kickstart this housewarming journey! Let's start by sharing some details & breakdown of our home: Size: 1001 sqft Project Plan: without ID Renovation cost: ~$24,000 Renovation + Furnishing + Appliances: ~$42,000 Duration of Renovation: 2 months We wanted to keep this as our project hence we proceeded without an ID or main contractors! We arranged & liaised the logistics and are glad we do have subcontractors & vendor support for our new home. Our friends called us crazy for not hiring an ID or PM but we're so glad we overcame this together, it's been a smooth & insightful planning and home-building journey! A snippet of the IKEA TOKABO as our Christmas gift by our close friends. They have also gifted a multi-coloured lightbulb which sets a different mood as you toggle in different colours • this versatile lamp is just what we need to spice up our TV console corner! One of our favourite features of our living area: the wall niches! We received this HOOGA Reed Diffuser as our Christmas gift, picking up the fresh scent of English Pear & Freesia. While visiting our friend's home, we came across the Samsung Frame which has a matte finish screen & immediately added it to our appliances shopping list! Our living area flooring is nanocrete by POROUSWAY, we were all in on the grout-less look and easy maintenance. In our cosy living area with our diy limewash wall, we've combined Mexican Sky and Light Grey from NIPPON PAINT for this mellow effect. Our diy limewash walls (spanning from the main living area + tv feature wall) took us about 1-2 hours! Getting appliances from AUDIOHOUSE are a steal as they have huge cash back systems, allowing us to save more as we spend! Our hood + hob + oven combination is from Mayer as recommended by our friends! A little confession would be that our rooms are not the most ready hehe so we're doing our best with the angles of the photos! We have unopened taobao boxes & packages lying in our home ◡̈ We will share more about this TAOBAO space saving benches, it's an amazing find so do stay tuned!

ourtownerloftCreatorHello! ◡̈ We checked our floorplan to confirm which part of the TV wall is structural/partition, from there we got our contractor to drill a small hole on partition side behind the TV & also another hole behind the TV console.
