Before moving into our home, we’ve never thought that we would have real plants at home since J admits that she’s a plant killer (a cactus died in her hands once!) 🙊🙉
Our first real plant (a Monsterra) was gifted to us by our uncle when we first moved into our new house🪴It was quite tiny and only had 4 leaves, it has grown quite a bit since then! Here’s the plant when we first received it 🌱
In the initial setup we were pretty ghetto, we just made do with what we have at home to hold the plants. We decided to use a trolley plate with wheels so that it is easier to move the plants around when there is better sunlight elsewhere, or when we are doing our laundry since we put the plants in our kitchen where there is stronger sunlight ☀️
We had no idea how quickly our plant collection grew, from one plant to eight in a span of a year! 🙊 Hence we 'upgraded' the plants to a multi-level condo (aka trolley) from IKEA 🪴 We’ve also decided to shift the plants to our study/work room so that we can take a look at some greens when we take a break.
We also shift our plants around our home sometimes just to give the house a bit more life with little pops of green for our eyes to appreciate. Here's one of them on our dining table.
