Welcome back to our home! One of the key features of our living is our 4.4m long concrete settee, where most of our guests prefer to sit surprisingly. ๐
Rather than having the usual vertical bookshelf, we decided that the settee can double up as our book display area. ๐ As our collection of books grow, the settee will become more vibrant over time as well.
Having a standing light at the settee sets a soothing and comfortable mood for reading and chilling, day or night. This helps give us a sense of calmness as we unwind after a long day. ๐
One of the most favourite parts of our home, our sofa has a surprising backstory to it. Being a 1.8m one piece sofa, it couldn't fit the lift and had to be carried instead. Just as we thought it couldn't be any funnier, it couldn't fit through our door and had to use our window as its grand entrance! ๐
Nโs pick on this quirky clock has gotten some of our friendsโ attention, asking where we bought this! ๐ We love how the squiggly design is subtle, and you only see its fun when you look closely.
Hereโs our guests playing nostalgic games on the TV! We also noticed that our friends like to sit on the carpet rather than the sofa ๐ Initially we were a bit hesitant due to practical reasons but gave in eventually for the aesthetics! ๐
Quick Tip: If you think that your living room feels a bit empty, a carpet is a quick and simple way to make it look whole!
