To create this peninsula, we did quite a number of hacking works as the original kitchen was closed concept. We hacked two kitchen walls and the common bathroom door to create additional space to extend the peninsula. On the left is the "dry" side of the kitchen and the right is the "wet" side of the kitchen.

To achieve the seamless look, both the kitchen countertop and backsplash are constructed using the same quartz material. We decided to choose a quartz as it is more affordable and durable compared to sintered stone. We also love our Wells The One water dispenser which is space saving and sleek :)
