Welcome to the cutest room in our home - Our Daughter's Playroom! :)
I have a lot of fun crafting this space to make it enjoyable for our daughter, yet keeping it practical and safe.
This is the only room with minimal built-in, so we have the flexibility of changing the layout and style as she grows.
Can you guess what is her favourite colour? :P
With the help of these closed cabinets, we are able to keep (hide) her growing collection of toys, books, and craft supplies without looking messy or cluttered.
These cabinets are customisable. There are a few colour options to choose from. You can also customise how many shelvings to suit your storage needs. Bonus points for having round edges and soft closing (except for the pull-out drawers. Sadly, they do not come with soft closing). The height of the cabinets are just right for kids to retrieve and keep their things on their own, encouraging independence.
This customised jelly cat bunny is a gift from our dear friend when she was still a newborn.
The pink whale is actually a tissue holder. But it can't fit regular tissue boxes. So, I use it as a controller holder instead.
We still use a playmat as it provides comfort and cushion our bums from the hard floor. Plus, the mat can be easily cleaned and sanitized after use, great for messy play.
Storage Baskets are great for keeping random items lying around the room.
Another storage basket feat. her linabell collection.
Ending this post with her Little Affirmation Corner.
It is never too early to start using affirmations with your kids. It helps promote positive thoughts and feelings that can help them overcome fear and self-doubt, making them more resilient in the future.
I caught her reading the poster to herself a few times. It's a cute sight. :)
