Welcome to our green corner! The Japanese olive tree, a symbol of peace and blessing, has become a soothing presence in our living room.
We contemplated getting an artificial olive tree but decided to go with a real one after discovering its resilience and low-maintenance qualities:
/ Water once a week
/ Thrives indoors with natural sunlight, place it by the window
/ Slow growing, so no frequent pruning is needed
A closer look at our olive tree. It belongs to the 'Elgreco' species which is distinguished by its contrasting coloured leaves with a light sage underside.
This is our 'Little Baby,' a Sophora Prostrata. Housed in a beautiful cream pot by Sprout, a Korean brand we adore, this little plant has quickly become a favourite in our home.
Although it's a bit tricky to care for, we love its unique look and feel.
Tip: Don't skip watering! This 'Little Baby' is sensitive to changes in its environment and care conditions.
Do you spot the cute heart-shaped leaf? It's these small surprises that make plant parenting so rewarding.
As first-time plant parents, we started off with these two to see how well we manage them, and so far, it's going great! Hoping to fill our home with more plants — currently eyeing the Bottle Tree and Stephania Erecta! 👀
