Welcome to our dining room, one of the spaces in which we spend the most time in :) There are two main stars in this part of our home — the dining table set & pendant light 😊 We wanted to look for a collapsible/extendable table that would give us the flexibility to create more moving space when it’s just the two of us and more dining space when we host. When we saw this table on Taobao, we knew it was THE ONE and it became the very first item we carted out from Taobao :) It comes with 2 sides that are easily collapsible/extendable to our needs, allowing us to create 3 configurations with just 1 table! 🥳 Here’s how it look like when both sides are collapsed, perfect for a cosy cafe vibe or romantic date night 🤭 
Here’s how it looks with one side collapsed — we are able to flush it to the wall, creating a half oblong look :) And finally, here’s how it looks like when fully opened! We are able to fit 8 people here comfortably, perfect for hosting mid-sized groups! ☺️ When we host larger groups, our collapsible table (which we keep in our bomb shelter) comes in handy! This is also when we merge our dining area with the living area :) 
The other key feature of our dining room has got to be our pendant light, which is also one of our favourite pieces of the house! ❤️ We went around high and low looking for the perfect one, but none really quite struck the cord until we saw this! Fun fact: the moon & mountain (some of our guests say it’s a heartbeat 😆) are 2 separate pieces: We only managed to find the mountain in store, and the hubs decided to get the moon from Shopee, which we then got our electrician to help fix them into one ☺️ 
Because of this, we are now able to just keep the moon on while we turn off the mountain on days where we want that extra dim, cosy vibes ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆ 
We also allocated two electrical sockets to charge our devices and in case we ever want to have hotpot! 🥘 Ft. The bread clips that we’re using as cable holders, as part of our little effort to live a minimal and sustainable life of using what we have! :) And that’s all for our dining room tour! 😊
