When we first started flat hunting, we were pretty sure we wanted the conventional square layout. However the moment we stepped foot into this space, a lot of ideas started popping into our mind of what we could potentially do with this odd-shaped layout, and then we knew this was the one.
While self-designing our home, we wanted it to be cozy, bright and airy at the same time. Hence, we decided to hack away the kitchen wall to allow more light to flow through the home.
We also hacked away the storeroom and replaced it with full length storage cabinets.
Even though we have a study room, I mostly work from the dining table as I love how the natural light flows through the entire living area.
Also, we got a mounted swivel TV so we can watch it comfortably while having our meals.
