This is our master bedroom, which was originally the 2nd bedroom.
We knocked down the walls between the master bedroom and this room forming a large suite consisting of our wardrobe, study, master bathroom and sleeping space.
The master bedroom is the only room in the house we opt for curtains. Our original plan was to use blinds for the whole house, but in order to create a more lush vibe in the bedroom, curtains were more suitable.
Keeping a muted palette through out the house was the one thing we kept consistent with. In the master bedroom, the color theme was kept to grey and ash tones.
As we wind down at the end of the day, candles and dim lights are a must.
This 4 panel reeded glass sliding door separates the sleeping space from the study any wardrobe.
We designed it this way so that when either of us needs to be up and preparing earlier will not disturb the other who is still sleeping.
There are also only 2 bedside lights in this room. No fan or ceiling light hanging down as Cin personally do not like anything above her head when she sleeps.
