A luxurious hotel vibe master ensuite or a resort style vibe bathroom sanctuary? Why not the best of both worlds!
Here is our concealed bathroom accessed via our walk-in closet in our master bedroom. The use of marble adds a sophisticated touch and enhances the luxurious hotel feel. This design choice not only elevates the space aesthetically but also adds a sense of exclusivity and comfort to our master suite.
On the other hand, the resort-style vibe for our guest bathroom brings a sense of tranquility and luxury to a frequently used space.
By integrating natural materials and soothing wood tones, we are able to transform the guest bathroom into a relaxing oasis. This approach not only enhances the space's aesthetic but also contributes to a more relaxing and enjoyable experience for anyone using it.
Here it is! Our concealed bathroom accessed via our walk-in closet. A sleek en-suite bathroom with modern fixtures and a relaxing ambiance completes the experience.
We decided to go classic for a luxurious bathroom statement and opted for marble paired with gold accents to create a sanctuary for us to unwind and relax.
We chose bigger wall tiles to create an illusion of a bigger space in our bathroom sanctuary. Not forgetting another arc shower screen to complement the curves of our golden rainshower 🚿💛
It’s wonderful to see how well our choice of marble and fixtures has come together!
The golden tap and bear soap dispenser, paired with Lian Hin's Fascino marble countertop, Lian Seng Hin's marble tile, and the marble sink from Shopee, have all contributed to creating a beautiful and cohesive look in our bathroom sanctuary.
Sitting here will be the most expensive piece in our bathroom- a uniquely shaped $2.5k Toto toilet bowl, originally priced at $3.8k 😆
Aside from its stylish design, it also has tornado flush which cleans more effectively and quietly using less water. Its rimless bowl also ensures easy cleaning and ultimate hygiene.
Till date, no regrets investing in this high-end Toto toilet!
The curves of our arc shower screen complement the arc rainshower and showerhead perfectly, enhancing the overall aesthetic of our shower area.
Adding an acrylic panel to cover the bathroom pipes not only conceals the pipes for a cleaner look but also provides easy access for maintenance.
The shiny details of our bathroom accessories add a touch of elegance to our bathroom sanctuary. It’s those finishing touches that can make a big difference in the overall look and feel!
These gold chevron tiles from Lian Seng Hin beautifully define our shower area and complement our marble wall tiles perfectly!
We created a drop down for our shower area to prevent water from accumulating. This helps to manage water in the shower area and prevent pooling.
We customised our vanity cabinet to fit perfectly into our bathroom space. Adding a shackle style for a unique twist is a creative touch that sets our design apart.
Additionally, we opted for a double profile for our countertop as it adds depth and visual interest.
Aren’t these doorknobs adorable? We spotted them on Taobao and knew we had to have them in our bathroom! They definitely add a charming touch to our space.
Moving down our hallway brightly lit up by our smart lights with the timeless elegance of herringbone patterns stretching along the hallway, we see our guest bathroom to the right.
Our hallway is illuminated with Shiok Lighting’s astro ceiling lamp, complementing the custom barn doors for our bedrooms beautifully. Fluted glass swing doors for our guest bathroom add on a touch of sophistication to the farmhouse vibes.
We wanted a resort style vibe for our guest bathroom. Wooden tiles for the shower area brings a warm and natural feel while textured wall tiles with a subtle shiny surface add a touch of elegance and depth.
We chose black bathroom fittings and a gunmetal toilet bowl as they blend seamlessly with our resort-style vibe.
We were cautious about choosing a full black or grey toilet bowl due to cleaning concerns. However, we found one in a stylish gunmetal color with a white inner surface and a Geberit fit, which was perfect for us!
We have also created a drop down for our shower area to manage water in the shower area.
The LED lights around our mirror create a stunning effect on our wall tiles, highlighting their texture and shine. It’s fascinating how lighting can enhance the details of a space.
Additionally, we have customized our basin cabinet with Modeste to maximize the space in our bathroom.
Watching the water cascading from the bamboo tap onto our terrazzo sink, complemented by a rose gold faucet, indeed creates a serene and refined ambiance. The interplay of materials and the gentle sound of flowing water together evoke a deep sense of peace and relaxation.
Our bathroom is uplifted by a delightful fragrance, thanks to our diffuser's Shangri La scent. Its subtle, refreshing aroma enhances the space, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and well-being.
Lastly, we have one of our favourite purchase: Gen 8 Digital Water Heater from AOS Bath. It impresses us with its rapid delivery of hot water in just 5 seconds.
Its standout feature is the capability to provide continuous hot water for 24 hours without the need for reheating, ensuring convenience and efficiency. For instance, even if the power to the heater is turned off at 10pm, the water is still hot at 9am the next day.
For a 40L tank, we are pleased that its sleek design fits perfectly into our bathroom space. Investing in this heater has been a decision we have not regretted!
This pretty much sums up our bathroom sanctuaries: a concealed luxe master ensuite versus a resort-style sanctuary. Which one do you prefer?
Stay tuned to our upcoming posts on other corners of our humble abode! 😊
