Since we knew the smell will probably spread to the house, we decided to invest into a better hood. This is the latest Rinnai Hood, sleek and uses some advance technology. We are loving it at the moment. It’s powerful! Our sofa doesn’t smell at all!
This is the other side of the kitchen, where we have a peninsula attached. We prep a lot of food here, since our kitchen doesn’t have a lot of countertop space. We customised the cabinets to our needs. It has been working out just fine for us!

I love our backsplash! Despite our ID going against the idea since the grout lines can be pretty ugly when dirty, it hasn’t been so far (at all!) and it’s also a very affordable option. We love that it gives off some farmhouse vibes!
