For our guest bathroom, we used brushed gold toilet fittings. Since we could not find one vendor who sold the fittings as a whole set, we bought each piece from different vendors: Shopee, Lazada, Hoe Kee, and other toilet stores in Singapore.
For our bathroom tiles, we used a mix of stone textures. We used a smooth Travertine tile from Hafary, a textured stone tile from Soon Bee Huat, and instead of tiling our floors, we used pebbles and cement. We kept all the colours to a similar shade of beige.
For guest bathrooms, we really think that the most important thing is how the bathroom smells like. This is why we always have a scented candle and room spray available. This keeps your toilet feeling fresh and clean, but also allows your guests to use the toilet in peace and comfort (without feeling self conscious about doing a number 2!)
Now this is our master's toilet. We wanted it to feel more bold as compared to our guest toilet. So we used a mix of blue and orange tiles, and to neutralise it, some sandy tones for the bottom tiles.
For our master bathroom, we prioritised having open shelves and a ledge. This is to make sure we can easily access our daily items, and even if it looks messy, we're not so concerned because nobody sees the master bathroom except us!
For our master bathroom, we used dark blue tiles for the ultimate contrast to our orange terracotta tiles. We love the striking colour so much! We also chose to invest in a Grohe shower system for the ultimate shower experience, water flow, and metal shine!
For both our toilets, we also make sure it always has a bottle of Poo-Pourri Toilet Spray. I've been using this brand for years because it's effective, affordable, and has a variety of scents. Just spray before you go, and it will mask the odour.
