This area used to be a study room but we decided to convert it into a dining space.
Our design is a mix of rustic with a touch of scandinavian. We love matching differents shades of wood to give a cozy feel to the space.
As we love hosting, this space is where we all gather for meals. At times we played games and just catch up with one another. Mostly everything in this space is thrifted from @carousell.sg.
We have an additional built in storages within our dining area.
Cabinet corners or dead spaces tend to be wasted or not used optimally, as things are usually hard to retrieve. Therefore we ensure every space that is available is made purposeful.
This space is where we keep additional tablewares, board games, decor and travel bags. We also have a section specifically for the cats.
Glad that we made the decision to keep this space, as we realize that storage is really important and helps to maintain clutters.
A statement piece for this wall by putting up a huge mirror. It opens up the space and makes it look larger.
We diyed this mirror for just under $20. We thrifted the mirror from Carousell, spray paint it and fix the wood pieces that we cut to make it look like a grid. Honestly one of our best project 😊
