Welcome to our minimalist home! A place where we share love and laughter with our friends and family. We just moved in and rented out a 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom unfurnished unit in Hougang to accommodate more people. We opted for an unfurnished unit so we can bring our stuff from our old place and decorate our new home. This sofa bed from IKEA is such a good deal. What I love about this is that it's a medium firm mattress which is very comfortable but also senior-friendly for our parents. When it comes to buying stuff in the house, I always consider our parentals because whenever they visit us, we don't want them having a hard time to stand after sitting on our sofa. This is the part of the house where we love to stay, watch, and play. We chose to buy a 55-inch TV, a sound bar, and a PS5 so we wouldn't get bored and have a mini-cinema theater at home. We're big fans of smart homes! This floor lamp plus smart light LED combination is a winner. Hassle-free to turn the lights on and off in just one click on our phones. This dining table can extend to accommodate up to 8-10 pax. We love for friends and family to come by and visit us from time to time. So, we considered buying a dining table that's extendable and can accommodate a lot of people without eating the other space up. Most of the decorative items we bought were from Shopee . Aesthetic and wallet-friendly will always work for us! I love flowers but I'm not really a 'plant-parent' (yet!) so I found ways to decorate the house with low- to no- maintenance items like artificial flowers. It elevates the color of the house and it gives a more cozy feeling. We decided to get a shoe rack that is simple yet functional. Adding an artificial plant here elevates the view and ambience of this foyer. No to blunt-looking spaces! This is where my husband's favorite dishes are made! One of the things we considered when deciding on this unit was the built-in oven as we're both frustrated bakers. Our coffee corner + the microwave + washing the dishes. Ensuring this space is maximized and functional was one of our main goals! All of our kitchen essentials in an arm's reach but still pleasing to the eyes. Special thanks to that space-saving rack from Shopee! 
My husband and I are super coffee lovers! So a hassle-free coffee machine in a fast paced environment is an important part of our kitchen. A high-quality, functional, and aesthetic coffee machine? Sign us up! A place where we take a good rest. Look closer and you can find some of our friends staying with us! 
HipVanUnverifiedSLEEP Mattress, QueenS$699.00Sleep and rest is very important to us. We chose a mattress that's ergonomic from HipVan. Perfect for people who have scoliosis or any other similar conditions. This space looked quite dull when we first decorated. So we decided to add a slim cabinet to store some of our books, journals, and perfumes. Our master's bathroom. As this is a rented unit, the theme doesn't necessarily quite match what we wanted. But still, we tried to make our intended theme pop by adding decor and functional items in beige or in white. Here are the products that I have in the vanity area of our master's bathroom. Really loved the big mirror cabinet so we can store most items inside without making the outside look messy. That's it! Join us in our journey as we continue to decorate our home.
