Hey everyone! This will be our final post as a Season 7 Ambassador :,) To end it off, we will be sharing more about the different ways we upcycle/repurpose items in our home for organisation, storage, and even decor! It brings us immense joy to experiment with how we can maximise the lifespan of each item we bring into our home, and we hope this post will inspire you to do the same too 💖
We repurpose pipagao bottles as flower vases 💐

We reuse the plastic container that comes with some groceries for various purposes. Some are used to store knick knacks, while some, like shown in this photo, are used to water our plants! We have also used this to rinse our brushes during one of our painting sessions 🎨 We love that we get to decide whether or not we want to keep the lid for storage purposes or cut them away for other aforementioned uses!
Our tissue box is DIY-ed using a paper bag & 2 bobby pins :) The best thing about this is that we get to change it whenever we feel like it!
We DIY-ed this Christmas-themed tissue box with 2 paper bags (1 in red for the body, 1 in green for the trees) and some ribbons! 🎄
We cut a 1.5L water bottle to create a holder for our most-used cooking tools :)
Milk jugs make great storage containers! We have cut a few pieces like this to organise our fridge :)
We reuse the egg trays that come with the eggs instead of purchasing new egg trays 🥚
We don’t buy organisers to organise our sachet drinks — we use the boxes that already come with them! We love how we can easily customise how we want to organise the items according to what’s in the inventory, especially since it’s been ever-changing for the past few months :)
Similarly, we repurpose some boxes that come with food/snacks as storage trays :) P.S. The Meiji crackers ones are especially sturdy!
The “organisers” you see here are repurposed from coconut water packaging 🤭
Tote bags and paper bags can accumulate quickly over time, often exceeding the quantity that we really need or will use. We have repurposed a few of them as storage solutions around our home, such as in the kitchen & service yard 🙌🏻
Our DB box is mainly organised with used tissue boxes, card board boxes, and cracker containers! It took us some time to reach here as we needed to wait for the tissues to run out, but it’s so rewarding seeing how they all came together! Repurposing items also gives us lots of freedom to explore & change how we want to store our items, instead of having to conform to store-bought storage containers.
We made cardboard trays using cereal boxes to store our socks 🧦
We did not buy any organisers specially for our beddings. We simply reuse the bags that came with the bed sheets & blankets when we bought them! :) A simple wipe down to disinfect the bags was all it needed ✨
You’d be surprised by how mighty the tiny bread clips are! We use it in multiple ways in our home 🙌🏻
We use it to mark the end of the tape, so that we no longer have to struggle finding the end each time we need to use the tape!

We also use it as a keychain to hold bundle of keys 🔑

The bread clips also make great cable holders. The help to keep the cables off the floor, which is especially useful when manually vacuuming or when our robot vacuums! It makes the cables look a lot more organised as opposed to just letting them dangle on the floor too :)

We repurposed shower bottles to store our cleaning brushes 🫧
Our remote controllers needed a home (previously, we stuffed them at the side of the sofa, and we had to fumble to find the right one each time). A luncheon meat container was the perfect fit! We also love how the beautiful gold finishing matches some of our gold light fittings 🤩✨
We cut a hole in a 1.5L bottle and use it to drain our washing machine pipe 💦
