Welcome to our Master Bedroom! We have progressed from sleeping on a mattress to what you see now but we are still in the process of decorating. So, if you have any ideas, please feel free to reach out to us! In this room, you can see a clear division of both our styles and interests. I prefer rattan and woody furniture while my husband likes to mix colours and textures. During our renovation process, we decided not to opt for a built-in wardrobe as we felt it would make the space look smaller. Hence, we decided to use a clothes rack instead, together with a shoe rack that my husband uses to keep his clothes which can surprisingly store a large amount of clothes. You will see part of the shoe rack in the picture below! We have a lot of posters in the house that were printed by my husband to add colour and character to the space. We highly recommend you guys to express yourself through your decorations! 
This is our little cosy corner in our bedroom. We thrifted this cute rattan arm chair and on weekend mornings, I like to sit here and read while my husband sleeps in. It is a good spot to enjoy the sunlight and a good book! I had this side table from even before we moved in to Simeitaiji and I love the rattan and cherry wood combination, so I decided to bring it over. Between the two of us, I believe organised mess is acceptable while my husband is all about being neat so these drawers are very useful for me to hide my mess. I love how spacious the drawers are - I can keep my books, candles and all my miscellaneous items in the drawers. My husband is a minimalist who believes that less is more. Hence, he chose this Ikea side table for its aesthetics and paired it with a simple blue lamp for a pop of colour. Also, we recently set up this Lumos projector in our room which we use to have our movie nights in bed! 
Our view of movie night in bed! Shoutout to other Studio Ghibli fans! On top of the posters, we also have quirky stickers on most of our mirrors in the house. This is our Daily Affirmation reminder whilst doing fit-checks: You are MAGICAL! Ok, time to get out of bed now, bye!
