Instead of having a specific green corner, we instead try to have bits of greenery throughout our home. This also allows us to move plants around a lot more based on the sunlight needs of each individual plant! We currently have this set up above our washing machine, which is paired with a decorative tea towel and right by the kitchen window for practically direct sunlight.
Facing the washing machine is a guest toilet, which we have hung a string of hearts plant. The joys of an old resale unit meant that the unit came with the old ceiling mounted bamboo pole hangers which we decided to retain. After a fresh coat of paint, it now has a fresh lease of life as a built in hook for us to hang decor pieces.
Over at our entryway, we have a sweet potato plant right by the window as its vining branches add a good amount of visual interest to the space. We also use the IKEA plant stand on top of the sideboard to create variation in height and build visual interest.
Another way we like adding greenery to our home is via having fresh flower arrangements placed around our spaces. They add a touch of cosyness and burst of colour that we love.
