Lights is the most important aspect for me in a space and if I can only choose to keep just one element of the apartment, it would be the lights I can bask in - having the combination of spotlights and accent lighting in a mix of 2700-3000K warm colour temperature. Although all the lights in our home can be switched between warm and cool lights, we have never used the cool lights option. Even in the washrooms, we love basking in the warm, cosy yellow sunshine 😊 We specifically asked for our open shelves to be fitted with overhead lights. We love the warm glow that highlights our decorative pieces. We used spotlights for our entryway and track lights for our kitchen. Fun fact: The lightbulbs can be switched between warm, warm white and cool white tones easily with a press of the switches. You can request for tri-colour lights at the light shops if you want the option to switch them up for different activities/ambiance. Lights, cameras, flash 💫 Picking a very bling and rose gold feature light was a bit of a risk for a very woody interior but we are glad we went with it. To tie the look, we chose a bit of gold accents in our soft furnishings and chairs with gold legs. Here’s a closeup of our rose gold pendant light. It jazzes up the drinks bar area and we love it! Here’s our Bedroom TV projector and night light. This is a custom designed bedhead with niche. We fitted the niche with overhead ambient lights and a power track for our charging devices, TV projector and speakers. Here’s looking up at our master bedroom ceiling. The cove lights remind us of airplane aisle lights. The cloud hanging pendant light is a favourite of the Hubs. We rarely turn it on so it serves as a decorative piece. However, when we need a very bright task light, the cloud light does it very well. Movie nights in bed are the coziest! With our small footprint Samsung The Freestyle TV projector, we don’t have to stare at a TV screen in the bedroom when we are not having movie nights in, all that is needed is any plain wall. The cove lights on both sides add that needed warmth for movie nights! Usually we would turn on either the left or right cove light for movie lights and both sides if we are reading. During our first xmas, we decided to style our TV console with fairy lights because we don’t have a xmas tree. We love it so much we’ve kept it ever since that first xmas! The lights are fitted with a smart switch and whenever we want the lights turn on for that added ambiance, we go “Hey Google, turn on the Xmas lights!” 
For the bathrooms, we swapped out the BTO netted cover for these acrylic panels fitted with lights. It just looks better and is easier to maintain! Additionally, if you are having a custom built top hung cabinet, it’s also nice to have it fitted with lights that makes the space more cosy. Yes it’s 3000k warm lights all the way, even in the bathrooms.
