They say a well-maintained and welcoming kitchen can set the tone for the rest of the house. Our kitchen is one of the first rooms people see when entering our home. So we gotta get it right..
Our kitchen is connected with the dining space so we chose white to match the theme of the house.
Neutral colours can make your kitchen look stylish and timeless.
And what else is timeless, is our kitchen cabinets. We chose a shaker style cabinet with matte surface and brass handles to create this timeless look.
We also chose big pull out drawers to store our pots and pans, baking stuff, tupperware collection and just random kitchen items.
We love that the Island creates a break between the dining space and the kitchen space. Initially, we wanted the oven to be next to the refrigerator but we decided to place it outside with the floor to ceiling cabinets instead. This makes more sense for us so that we can bring out the food straight to the table!
You can see the drawers below the oven - those are our snack pantries...
We try very hard to keep our space clean but there are things we need when prepping and cooking so we kept them outside for easy access. Things such as oil, salt, pepper, cutting boards, knives and etc...
