One of our best renovation decisions—separating wet and dry areas in our bathroom! Smaller wet area = lesser area for mould to grow. We think it's worth our effort of having to clean the glass doors.
Here's how to place our toothbrushes and toothpaste. In our previous homes, we have little toothbrush holders placed on the counter but it makes the counter and the bottom of our toothbrushes wet and mouldy. We found this to work really well for us.
We noticed that traditional soap dispensers often leave water puddles on the counter. While many use diatomite coasters to absorb the moisture, what works best for us is:
1. Automatic soap dispensers – No need to touch with wet hands, reducing mess.
2. Placement – Positioned to dispense directly into the basin, so any drips go straight down the drain.
A simple change, but it keeps our vanity dry, looking clean and new!
