From the beginning, we knew we wanted more curve elements to soften the space while adding visual interest and flow. Practicality-wise curves also increases safety by removing sharp corners that one may accidentally knock into and allows for future kid-proofing. That said, every curve comes at added cost so we had to be selective and add it where it mattered most.

The biggest headache we had was a structural beam running across our living room ceiling. Our ID creatively softened it by adding curves and cove lighting; We now have a unique ceiling feature that frames our sofa area.
Framing our walkway to the toilets and bedrooms is a curved cupboard (dry pantry area) on the left and curved partition wall (TV) on the right
Our entry floor to ceiling cabinet is curved as it’s the first thing we see upon entering the house and better matches the curve ceiling
