How To Get That Inviting & Luxurious Bathroom Look!

Right from the start, we wanted an inviting and luxurious look for our bathrooms that reminds us of that dreamy hotel retreat 😌 Sharing with you guys 4 tips on how you can transform your toilet to look more ‘atas’ too! *We did a full overlay of our toilet wall and floor tiles as the original BTO tiles didn’t suit our theme. 
1️⃣ Glossy marble-look tiles To achieve a luxurious aesthetic, we opted for glossy marble-look tiles for most of the walls. We went with big 60cm x 60cm marble-effect porcelain tiles from Hafary as we didn’t want too many grout lines. Fewer grout lines actually give the illusion of a bigger space and are easier to maintain too! 🧽 Bonus: Glossy tiles reflect light and make our small BTO toilet look brighter and more spacious 🛁🌟 2️⃣ Rain shower This was a must-have for the husband who wanted to indulge in a relaxing shower experience everyday 😗😆 Compared to an instant heater, a rain shower definitely makes the bathroom look more luxurious! We got our rain shower sets from Heritage Bathroom Gallery - they have a huge range of bathroom fittings at quite affordable prices. 3️⃣ Nice ambient lighting Lighting is crucial in creating an inviting hotel-like ambience! To achieve this, we installed recessed LED lights (sealed up the original ceiling mesh cover) and a statement frameless mirror with beautiful backlighting 🪞✨ 4️⃣ Brushed gold fittings For that added touch of sophistication, we incorporated brushed gold fittings into both bathrooms. Love how the warm tones and sleek design stand out beautifully against our white marble-look tiles ✨ We got most of our bathroom fittings (except for rainshower set) from Taobao and Shopee, which were quite affordable! 💛✨ Save this post for future reference and follow us @northshoreloft on Instagram for more home styling and renovation tips!
