The chandelier that we search high and low for months in Singapore and Malaysia. Ultimately we got it from Taobao as it tick off all the requirements we want the it to be.

In the heart of our home, we create a high dining table with dry pantry to house his alcohol collections. The table can accommodates up to 6 pax which suits our daily use. If we are hosting more, we usually dine in the balcony. We make more carpentry to keep our unsightly or bulky items as we do not have a storeroom.

The unit we choose is a north-west facing with unblocked view. Some may advice not to choose unit that are north facing, but having grown up in a north facing house, we love watching sunset, its magical. Some days we are blessed with really beautiful sunset sky.

Entering the enclosed kitchen, our kitchen have a glass window to peek into the living room. The glass allows more nature lights to enter the kitchen and allows the cook to watch drama while preparing the meals.

Our common corridor is brigten up by skylight window. As we are staying at the top floor, some of our guest thought that its a real window to the sky. Thats what we want them to feel too.

The skylight changes with the time. This is the light during the evening when the sun is setting.

Lastly, is our master bedroom. He love a cave man like wall aka moon stone wall while she think it is totally impractical; considering the amount of dust it may trap due to its rough surface. But it's obvious here who gave in this time. This wall was a DIY project, and we were glad about the outcome. We bought the material from Taobao and got it up with the help of our father. Ok, that's all for the home tour. Thank you for following us through this journey, if you enjoyed your visit, follow us @loftofnorth on Instagram for more.
