Not a room itself but a dining area, 1/3 carved out from the entire living space. So glad our unit was large enough to be able to afford this
Our dining set was such an affordable buy! A set of 4 chairs, 1 bench, and a 150cm long table. Material is rubber wood and seems to be pretty durable so far - no stains at all!
Have always wanted a bench too. Other than the ability to squeeze 3 pax on it, the overall visual comes across less overwhelming because of the low height of the bench. It also allows the dining space appear more welcoming
Because I wanted pendant lamps over the dining table, we could not have a ceiling fan. This corner therefore does not have great ventilation / airflow - explains our AC being here! This is also the larger unit, meant to cool the entire living space
Our dining area is (kind of) behind the sofa, diagonally; the two spaces very visibly distinguishable. We spend quite a fair bit of time here, eating while watching tv at the same time
Notice the small table fan in the corner too - for that additional wind the space doesn't have
Although it is just us 2 in the house most of the time, I wanted a larger dining set, knowing that I loveee hosting and will be hosting quite a fair bit. Here, it sits up to 7 people! And has proven itself very useful during the past few months of Christmas, NY, and CNY
Sometimes, the table unfortunately becomes a dumping ground for our barang barangs BUT I always attempt to keep it as clear as possible 😌
