The finished bathroom feels like a serene retreat. A soft neutral palette of beige tone, aligning seamlessly with the rest of the house’s minimalist design.
Before the transformation: The bathroom was functional but lacked personality. The old design featured a plain, aesthetic with dull, uninspiring tiles in muted beige and a bulky vanity that made the space feel smaller. The lighting was harsh, and the overall mood felt cramped and uninviting—a far cry from the serene oasis I envisioned.
The renovation process brought new life to the space. We stripped everything back to basics, making way for a brighter, cleaner design.
Incorporating large-format tiles gave the illusion of a bigger area, while adding accent lighting which created a softer, more calming glow. The space started to reflect the minimalist aesthetic I love—simple, functional, and effortlessly stylish.
I decided to place a simple reed diffuser along with a few of my essentials in the open niche of the bathroom. These personal touches complement the neutral tones of the space and bring in a hint of organic texture. It’s a small detail, but it effortlessly ties everything together, enhancing the serene and polished vibe of the bathroom.
Stepping into the finished space feels like a breath of fresh air. The soft neutral tones, paired with textured tiles, bring a sense of calm.
I chose gunmetal accessories—like the shower head and faucet—for a modern, elevated touch that feels understated yet luxurious. They perfectly complement the minimalist design without overpowering the space.
Every element was carefully selected to create a bathroom that feels refined, functional, and effortlessly serene.
