Welcome to our house tour!
Starting off with my favourite part of our home - the living room.
Being a fan of minimalism and neutral tones, I’ve carried this aesthetic throughout the entire house, creating a calm and cohesive atmosphere.
However, after living here for three months, I’m feeling the need to introduce a bit more vibrancy. I plan to break up the neutral palette by adding pops of colour and texture through accent furniture and decor in the future.
I often joke with friends that our kitchen is more like a pantry since it’s not as fully equipped like typical kitchens.
But I love that the compactness of our kitchen space suits our lifestyle perfectly. It’s practical and blends well with our day-to-day routines.
Featuring our common bathroom!
One of our best design choices was going with an undermount sink. It’s made cleaning a breeze and perfectly complements the sleek, minimalist look of our home.
In our common bathroom, we focused on functionality by separating the shower from the toilet area to keep wet and dry zones distinct.
We also opted to conceal the toilet bowl to make maintaining the floors much easier. These details have made a huge difference in the overall design and usability.
Fun fact: I had already decided on this bed frame before we got the keys to our house haha!
I love how it gives the bed a “floating” effect - making it look super inviting. To complete the look, I added a hanging lamp that perfectly ties the whole aesthetic together.
Another favourite part of our house: the master bathroom!
We especially love the shower area, and specifically opted for a concealed shower system to elevate the look of the space.
Especially love our bathroom tiles! It is cool to the touch and makes showers after work so relaxing.
Looking forward to see how our home will evolve according to our needs with time :)
