Outdoor space for alfresco dining. Singapore's weather is such that we can only do so at certain times of the day. But, even so, I love this area. This teak wood table and chairs were with us for over twenty years. Although it can be sand and varnish, I like this look better... rustic.

The plants in the garden are growing very well. Although they are as low maintenance as can be, I still need to prune them. They can overgrow and there was a period the taller plants covered up everything underneath and nearly killed the shrubs.

Love this weed with its small purple flowers. I decided to keep it there, sharing the same pot with the dumbcane. Then again, if I keep it, then it's not considered a weed, right?

The eucalyptus tree is growing fast. It's tall but the trunk is not very thick... praying that it doesn't snap. You can actually catch the scent when the wind blows and one is standing close by. Of course, sometimes I cut the branches and put in the rooms.

Across the outdoor dining area, we have an outdoor kitchen to fry, barbecue and prepare some simple food.
  • I bought a stainless steel cover for the stove outside to keep the dirt and dust away. It also gives extra countertop space when needed too.
