Welcome to our snuggly craft corner, where we transformed a dull wall into a giant pegboard wall that plays host to a jumble of cherished tools and little knick-knacks that we love.
Our Workroom was actually the "Living Room" of the house as we wanted a more conducive area to focus. We split the space into a dedicated craft table and workstations.
The Workroom was partitioned from our living room by a custom-made wooden-framed accordion folding door. We adorned the glass with our professional decal, injecting a touch of fun into the space and giving it the appearance of a dedicated studio.
We had always used our living room as a meeting space, but it was equipped with just a sofa and a small dining table that seated four. This arrangement was inadequate for accommodating everyone comfortably. So... we opted to invest in a lengthy Hay wooden table, prompting us to reconfigure the space due to the table's effect on the room's perceived size. As a result, our spacious living room transformed into a generously sized workspace, an exhilarating change that now allows us to host more friends with greater comfort.
The "Workroom" has now been transformed into our living room (more about it in a later post!), complete with a petite PC stationed beside the craft table. Bathed in the warm glow of our cozy lighting, the setup exudes a snug and intimate vibe akin to a charming little LAN shop.
