  • Hello everyone! We’re back with our Home Tour. We’ll be sharing the before and after of the different parts of our house along with our floor plan! 🤍 This is our entryway with a built-in shoe cabinet as we had very limited and odd space for the dining + entrance so we needed a very clean and space saving shoe cabinet (we replaced the cabinet of the DB box so that it serves as a shoe cabinet too).

Here’s our floorplan with drawings that our ID did for us! As you can see, our main door opens up into our dining area and the space is really odd. When I first saw the floor plan, I thought the dining table doesn’t fit comfortably into the space. We also left one room completely empty as we didn’t have a need for it now and wanted to maintain the flexibility of the space.

Our entryway/living room after reno works! We used the recess area in the wall in the previous picture to create the arch!

Our kitchen at the start of reno (backsplash tiles were up already)! I also love how our kitchen has a lot of natural light and faces a bright open space that brings a lot of wind and sunlight 😄

And our kitchen after reno! Won’t explain much here because we have another full kitchen post :)

Our master bedroom when you enter from the door into the room! The cupboard looks very much like rattan in the middle but guess what? It’s not and it’s an entire laminate!! Saves so much cleaning and moulding trouble. You really can’t have built in rattan in singapore, it just doesn’t make sense with our humidity 😫
