Good day to you! Here's a third feature of a before & after of the common bedroom in @livingatblk129.
As opposed to the the master bedroom which had a basic design with just a built-in cabinet, the common room was designed with a storage platform bed in mind to fit a queen-sized bed.
Next stage, carpentry. Really excited to see how 3D renders are coming to life whenever carpentry works are in progress!
Opted for pull-out drawer storage for the bed instead of those on the platform itself where you will need to move the mattress away to get access. Don't wanna hurt my back as the years start catching up!
A closer look from this angle from the corner between the door and study table.
Curved corners on the table and cabinet edges to minimize injury from knocking against it.
Configurations of the built-in cabinet.
At the side we have the open shelves for some figurines display and also to place every-use items for easy access.
Top compartment for keeping the bigger items and extra blankets.
Middle section for hanging of blouses and other foldable clothing.
Left bottom compartment for hanging uniforms, and the right we have a trousers rack for hanging, well, pants and shorts.
Over this side of the cabinet, this section is for dresses of all lengths. A hanging clothes storage will also be added for to hold more clothes and accessories.
Drawers for socks and personal wears, and the locked ones for safekeeping.
Here's the completed work after the renovation. I've always had plans for adding a wall mirror between the bed and cabinet. At this point of typing this, I'm still waiting for my delivery from HipVan haha!
A full view of the whole bedroom! I hope you enjoy reading this and if any of you 3-room homeowners who are considering a similar layout for your common bedroom, I hope this brings you some inspiration!
Till another time!
