Our BTO came with a black metal gate, with two toned dark laminate main door.
As our home’s theme is Japandi Luxe (think light colours, with hints of gold and marble-like finishes), we knew we had to replace both the gate and main door.
We went for a white gate with thinner grilles, so that more air can pass through. As for the main door, we opted for a “marble” laminate, to add to the luxe.
To finish off the look, we added a white bench and artificial eucalyptus tree too!
Moving on to the inside of the house. Here’s what it looked like in the middle of renovation, with the gate and main door removed.
You’d also notice that the DB box and switches are exposed.
And here’s what it looks like now; with the “marble” laminate main door.
We built carpentry to hide the DB box and switches too, to keep them out of sight.
