Hello, we’re KH & MS from @hwashan_, and we’re glad you’re here with us today. 😊 We’ve shared about our entryway before (3 highlights we love), but we thought it would be nice to revisit the space and share some before-and-after insights along with a few tips we picked up along the way. Here’s a shot of our current entryway setup—one of our favorite corners. 
Now, let’s take a look back at the seller’s original space. It was functional for shoes and bags but didn’t have the separation we were after. They used three stilts as a privacy screen, which added some division without closing off the area completely. 
The 3D renders from our ID really helped us visualize what we were thinking. We wanted to create a sense of segmentation in the entryway, but we didn’t want to rely on a change in flooring to achieve that. By lowering the ceiling with Evorich’s EvoWall vinyl planks, we defined the space while still maintaining an open feel, which made a noticeable difference. Now for the glow-up: Our entryway features a cream-colored shoe cabinet, a retro-style gate we love, and a full-height mirror with sock boxes for quick fit checks as we head out the door. Here’s a tip: Consider adding personal touches that reflect your style—art, trinkets, or even a fun doormat can really enhance your entryway. Another tip: Opt for storage solutions that are both functional and stylish. A shoe cabinet can help keep the space organized, and a mirror can make it feel larger and more inviting.
