Here is our common bathroom. It was built by developers but we added carpentry to cover up the open shelf as we want clutter free look.
We did not have photo before the modification hence using this show room bathroom. Originally it came as open shelf. We know we couldn't maintain showroom like display in toilet, having a door to cover it up is the perfect choice for us.
In the master bedroom this is the original shelving given for the toilet. Half with mirror and the other other is open shelf.
We decided to cover it up with another mirror door to make the toilet looks spacious and clutter free!
LED strip lights were added to the bottom of the shelf to soften ambient.
