As compared to the rest of the house, our bathrooms are really small in size. There was a lot we couldn't do due to a lack of space but, eventually, came up with a layout that worked
Featuring these large 60" tiles that magnified the small space
My intention was to replicate outdoor showers, hence these tiles that resemble textures of stone 🪨
I wanted glass shower screens in both bathrooms. It was a non-negotiable to ensure the dry area remains dry (or as dry as possible), so imagine my disappointment when it was realised that a shower screen will not be possible in the common bathroom
This was due to the positioning of the pipe - something we could not change. Because of this, we were unable to turn the orientation of the water closet - hence it facing out this way
Without a shower screen, the least I could have was a dropdown kerb to gather the water within. For now, we don't usually shower here so it has been helping to a certain extent
Ventilation fans were another must-have in the bathrooms. Tbh, I don't know the efficacy of having them but we do turn the fans on whenever we shower + leave them on for awhile after showering too
Mini ledges to place some essentials. These were the remaining pieces, shaped accordingly, from the sintered stone used for our kitchen countertops. Love that the matte white complements the grey tiles so well
