  • I’m thinking whether or not to remove the door between the kitchen and the yard. My main concern is that cooking smell may travel to the hanging clothes. What’s your experience with this? Any tips to share. Beautiful kitchen btw and thanks for sharing about it!

Great question! Sharing from personal experience, it really comes down to habit and a set routine. Since I have an open kitchen and laundry area, I've found three habits helpful:I do my laundry after dinner and let it dry overnight using the 3-hour heating function on my Steigen, which dries my clothes completely. I do laundry on non-cooking or light-cooking days, typically twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. I usually take down my dried laundry almost right away as I am someone who usually doesn’t like to see a “mess”.It really isn't very troublesome if you're disciplined, and it's become pretty instinctive for me now.I hope this helps!

It’s about 35cm! However, I would highly recommend you book an appointment for Steigen to help you make a free assessment directly at your place so they will measure out the placement for you as they will take into account stuff beyond just distance from windows that consumers like us might not be wary of. I don’t believe they were pushy to force a sale either! =]
